Feels weird to only work a few hours and then head home once my one singular task is done and before my shift is officially over. But I suppose that's what happens during January downtime when you have too much overtime, anyway.
Still, it sort of leaves me feeling antsy that I'm not there for the time I was originally scheduled. I know it doesn't make sense, but I feel bad, like I'm not worth sticking around. I should be happy they give me the time off so I can relax, since I only accumulated the overtime because I'm reliable and always available in the first place.
My brain is a weird place.
